Delivery
Lead Times
Please order before 3pm 2 working days prior to your delivery day, eg by 3pm Tuesday for a Thursday delivery for bulk products.
Please allow 5-7 working days if your order contains, Hand Pack, Gift Pack, or Own Label products. Please also bear in mind lead times for Marzipan deliveries in September, October and November may be slightly longer.
Minimum Order;
Shepcote Transport – minimum orders have remained at £100.00 nett of VAT. For less than this a Carriage Charge of £12.00 will be applied. Please note, if you are in our delivery area but require a delivery outside your standard delivery day, a carriage charge may be charged, either via Shepcote Transport or our Parcel and Pallet Network of Suppliers.
Parcel Carrier (no 25kg bulk bags or liquids, maximum 120kg)
MOQ for Scotland, Devon, Cornwall or within the M25 is £250.00 nett of VAT
MOQ for the rest of England and Wales is £200.00 nett of VAT
For less than this a Carriage Charge of £30.00 will be applied
Pallet Carrier
MOQ for Scotland, Devon, Cornwall or within the M25 is £500.00 nett of VAT
MOQ for the rest of England and Wales is £400.00 nett of VAT
For less than this a Carriage Charge of £60.00 will be applied
Other Charges
Irrespective of order value if a timed delivery is required (eg 9am to 12 noon) a Carriage Charge of £25.00 will be applied. All prices above are subject to VAT.

Terms
Once requested and approved, our terms are strictly 28 days from date of invoice unless otherwise stated.

Returns Policy
Should you be dissatisfied with the quality of our product you should contact the office within 5 working days of receiving your delivery so that arrangements for return can be made. Returns outside of this 5 day window will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances. Shepcote does not operate a sale or return policy and therefore products cannot be returned for other reasons i.e. over-ordering.
Bulk Quantities
We are willing to negotiate for larger quantities.
Bulk Orders/Contracts
Shepcote Distributors Limited are able to offer direct delivery of British Sugar and syrups. Please speak to the office or your Representative for details.

Disclaimer
Many of our products are naturally grown and harvested and although every care and attention has been taken to ensure no foreign matter, shell, pit, stone or mineral stone remains, our specifications do include tolerances for these. Specifications can be downloaded from our website or can be requested from our Technical Team (technical@ shepcote.com). For the reasons given above we cannot accept any claims for damages resulting from foreign matter within our specification tolerances.
Damages: due to the unreliability of outside couriers, we cannot accept any claims for damages for Brandy Snaps. Confectioner’s Glaze & Glaze Cleaner: we stock either 10 litre or 1 litre. Please accept the alternative if we are out of stock of one of these.
Christmas Arrangements 2025
The Office will close at 5pm on Tuesday 23rd December, and will re-open on Friday 2nd January. Some staff may be working between Christmas and New Year, so orders placed over email will still be processed. The final day for Shepcote delivery is scheduled for Wednesday 24th December, and will likely resume on Monday 5th January.
