Our Range
As sugar merchants, Shepcote deal direct with the major UK refiners; British Sugar for beet sugar and Tate & Lyle for cane sugar, syrups & treacle. Additionally, to service a growing demand for speciality sugars in retail quantities, we also carry a range of Billingtons sugars. With the sole exception of granulated sugar in 1kg retail bags, we carry the full range of brown, white and speciality sugars in sizes varying from individual sachets to 25kg bags. The same holds true for syrups and treacle, which can also be supplied in retail and bulk quantities.
The refiners deliver larger bulk orders on our behalf and these can generally be delivered to premises anywhere on the UK mainland. Smaller bulk orders, normally those under 1 tonne, and retail quantities are despatched from our own well-stocked warehouse.
Note: At the present time we are unable to supply sugar outside the UK.
As the price of sugar is inextricably linked to the performance of the Euro, bulk sugar prices can fluctuate from one month to the next. We keep our customers advised of possible changes and try to offer the keenest prices possible.
